Holy Cow is all I can say - I have been feeling awesome, but still had very subtle symptoms lingering, and was wondering if they were due to lyme or instead were just "leftover" nerve damage - well, it is clear that my symptoms subsided because most of the bacteria in my bloodstream had been killed off, but that there still are spirochetes hanging out in my joints.
How do I know this? Because I have been on Teasel root for a few months now. I herxed when I originally started taking it, but then after a while I stopped herxing from it. I am away in PA and went to my favorite town, Jim Thorpe. I had ran out of my Teasel Root and the lady at the nutritional store there told me to specifically get the Herbalist Alchemist Brand - she said its the best.
Well, she was sure the heck right. Two days after I started taking it, I herxed and I have been herxing since. Teasel Root works very well with antibiotics. This is because it pulls the spirochetes out of the joints, and brings them into the bloodstream, ready to be killed off by the antibiotics. I started to detox heavily, I even did alot of weight lifting yesterday (hoping the exercise would help push them out too), and I went in the Jacuzzi. Well last night, I tossed and turned, my foot and thumb were hurting, my arms got numb from sleeping on them, and I am pinching all over.
So if anyone is taking Teasel Root and it doesnt seem to be doing much, I would highly recommend the Herbalist Alchemist brand. And for anyone not taking Teasel Root, it is a excellent herb to use against Lyme.
