Cannabis oil for Lyme

IMO, that's wonderful news, Girlie!!! I believe there is a lot more that we have yet to learn about using this to combat disease!

Agent: I posted on the CBD helping with seizures...a few months ago there was a family on the news whose daughter was having multiple seizures per day..and they said it had dropped them down to something like two per day. The family said she was having so many, that they were worried about serious long term brain damage.
Sounds promising.

I say its worth a try. In my schooling last year we talked about canabis being used to treat heaps of things, like seizures (especially in youth because many seizure medications don't take well in younger years), pain, depression, anxiety, eating disorders-- heaps of stuff. If you go to www.maps.org they probably have more information on at least something to do with medicinal use of cannabis. MAPS are also the ones with the amazing clinical results that got the Canadian government to give the okay on legalizing medical MDMA use!

Personally, when I was a young teenager and a year after infection I was bedridden. Severe pain, consistent asthma, couldn't keep down food, shaking constantly and couldn't support my own weight enough yo walk properly if at all. I ended up self-medicating with cannabis because I had overdosed trying to take other medication to help me and just made myself worse. In all honesty, I don't regret young me doing so. The cannabis, even if it only lasted a few hours at a time, allowed me to breathe, eat, walk, and get a few hours of sleep in without waking up every ten minutes from pain and asthma.
Your biggest worry is probably going to be blood pressure. Cannabis will end up lowering it which for many people is a good thing, but a lot of people with Lyme all ready have low blood pressure. That's why I can't use cannabis anymore, it ended up making me faint. But feeling faint or even fainting isn't really a medical emergency, as long as you don't fall and hurt yourself and have someone around the first time just in case. If you start feeling faint, drinking water helps balance the blood pressure. :)

Binduspire, I am also on the Facebook group called Cannabis for Lyme. If you haven't watched the story of Rick Simpson called 'Run from the Cure', it is very interesting (deals with CO for Cancer). That video made me think that if it works that well for cancer, it might help with Lyme symptoms.
