I started hot yoga in 2010 and that helped. It taught me to treat my body with respect and observe it's strengths and appreciate it weaknesses. Work on my core. Regular yoga can give you the same effect but I enjoyed the hot(105 degree room) because of the sweating. I do regular power yoga twice a week and hot yoga twice a week.
I think finding someone who has healed from Lyme to talk to also helped. It shows you that it is possible. Surround yourself with positive people and be positive yourself in all that you do.
Once I started putting less pressure on myself to heal fast it came naturally. The pressure and stress can really knock you down.
I had many dark days feeling sorry for myself but then I realized I got Lyme for a reason. Spread my message of awareness, help others heal and because my daughter was born with it, get her well so that she can lead a normal life.
I hope today is better than yesterday and tomorrow is better than today.
