Hi all,
I happened to see this lady on TV named Annie Bond and she talked about
her chemical sensitivities. She makes her own bug repellant and on TV she said it not only works for mosquitoes but ticks as well.
She mixes 10 drops of tea tree oil with coconut oil.
Below is her website:

Thanks. I am going to make it! Sounds good for my dogs too. And they will smell good for a change, hahaha

Dannarahn, you might want to ask a vet about
it before using it on your dog since they can't tolerate everything we use. Maybe google will have some info. on it.
I was out pulling up wees that are commonly called "Herb Robert". It's a stinky geranium, with pretty lacey leaves, so I end up releasing the scent every time I pull one up. When I stood up to take a break, I notice a bunch of mosquitoes around my ankles, but none were landing on me, so I realized the pile of weeds next to me must've been repelling them. I just thought it was interesting.
Thanks Dejavu! I can't use it while I'm using homeopathy, though. :( I'll write it down for future use.
There are some essential oil blends for it too.
