Mine was insane knee pain and inability to stand or walk.
This was the first symptom to go away with antibiotics :)

I had Lyme a year ago, I've since recovered 100% and was great for a yr til I got reinfected this summer. I'm moving away from the woods ASAP! Anyhow, I thought I was doomed for life! I had this excruciating stiffness in my shoulder muscles that was so debilitating I would sit in my car and cry while contorting my body in odd positions to try and find relief. I was coming home from working only 3 hours in tears and icing my shoulder. I do hair. The pain was so bad for about
3 months. It faded completely about
a month after I finished the three weeks of doxy. Also my middle finger was swollen and weird. All gone! Well, til I got it back from another tick bite fml
