I hurt my right hand at the end of last week. Too many uncooperative big dogs that needed their nails clipped or blood drawn and my right wrist is very weak. There is one area just behind the thumb that has always been very sensitive even to light touch. This time when I hurt my wrist I noticed that it was also extremely uncomfortable even when the dogs hair brushed my forearm.
Now my whole right arm and even into the right side of my neck feels so FREAKY! It's hard to describe . . . it's like, when a guy is hitting on you and you kind of despise him, but he puts his arm around you; how your skin your skin feels like in that second - that's what it feels like! Or when you're walking to your car in a dark parking lot and you know that someone is there too. In that moment right before you turn around and you're sure they are right behind you, how your skin feels in that moment - that's what it feels like!
It's triggered by my hair, clothes, light touch, a slight breeze, anything and everything. What is this?? All I can think about at work is when can I go home and take my shirt off!! TMI, I know. I'm freaking out just a teeny bit because it feels like it might be spreading, and because it's so difficult to function when I feel like this!
Thanks for any help you can offer, friends.
