No Symptoms but bullseye rash

New (worried!) member here,

I have recently had the common bullseye rash appear on my hand two weeks after I was first bitten by something. I do not think it was a tick bite. We had a flea infestation at work so it is possible I was bitten at work. I have also been on the beach regularly recently so it could of also have been a sand fly. Is Lyme disease exclusively from ticks? Is the bullseye rash only a sign of Lyme disease or could it also be simply an infected insect bite?

I have had none of the symptoms that are commonly linked to early signs of Lyme disease. If you have Lyme disease is there always symptoms of some sorts in the early stages?

I have just today had the doctor prescribe me a 10 day course of antibiotics. I should say I live in the UK and things may be different here in terms of treatment. Reading other posts here does this sound a long enough course of antibiotics to treat Lyme disease early?

I appreciate that this is a lot of questions so many thanks in advance if any one can help and reassure me. I cannot believe the lack definitive answers about Lyme disease in this day and age!
