I am looking for a Lyme specialist doctor in Washington DC who has experience treating chronic lyme cases (15-20 years undiagnosed) like my own. Any referrals and reviews of doctors would be very much appreciated. Thank you so much.

I see Dr. J. He's in Germantown, right near washington DC. He's helped me and I was 15 years misdiagnosed. Email me if you want his info

Thank you for the input. I've emailed Brittany to get more information about Dr. J. Jess1ca318, I would welcome any additional thoughts you might have on Dr. J -- for example, if you have been his/her patient or heard good things about him/her from others. I really appreciate all the help. Thanks again!

I am so sorry that you have a need to be here, but I'm so glad that you found us! This is such a great place to find information, share experiences and to learn from each other!!

I would also like to point out that if you don't want to use your existing email address here, you do have the option of creating an email address just for this site with a @healingwell.com address! You'll see at the top of the page the word "email" - just click on that and follow the instructions.

I just booked an initial visit appointment for my 5 year old son with Dr. J's clinic in Washington DC. We are set to see him on Sept. 5, but I have time to change/cancel that appointment based on any feedback I get.
We are traveling up from Jacksonville, FL area because he came recommended by one of our doctors down here. Anyone have any thoughts?

I'll let you know... I've checked with Dr. H in Jacksonville, Dr. K in Gainesville, Dr. K in Orlando; None of them take pediatric patients. Wish us luck!

Dr. J. That's easy. After you've seen the PAs for an intro. visit, try to get in to see the actual doctor, though.
