CAN'T DETOX AT ALL ANYMORE; nothing's working!

Hey all, and Trav.,

It so happens I have Redmond Clay, so I took a tsp of it internally in a glass of water, am going to try washing my hair with it (in a manner of speaking), and can also add some to the bath water.

Trav., I don't think Ivory Soap is as pure as it claims to be. The one my mother used had a fragrance. It's a commercial soap.

Here's a link I found for African Black Soap. I've used it before, and it kinda falls apart, but then, you were using baking soda to wash your hair, so . . .

Strange way to start a post, but pee no longer smells like ammonia!

I found a great "shampoo," that is, bentonite clay mixed with baking soda! I also put it on my mosquito bite. My hair looks fine, so far. I don't know if it's really clean, but, we'll see ... .

Going to buy the filter for my air purifier today, hopefully.

Hello just want to leave a note here I can detox like a big dog when I do the iodine protocol you have to do the entire protocol the vitamin C the iodine the selenium the magnesium the Celtic sea salt taking the iodine advancing up slowly, it all works. Too well as a matter fact. There's a group on Facebook simply called iodine check it out look in the file section for something called supplements for iodine protocol.

Actually if you do your research you will find out that every single cell in your body needs iodine not just a thyroid. If you have bromine from drinks, foods and medication, fluoride in drinking water and toothpaste, chlorine in pools and drinking water. All of these are factor taking up residents in your cells where the iodine should be. It's all very interesting you definitely would prefer having the proper amount of iodine in your cells. Just look up symptoms of iodine deficiency .... Best of luck

Hi Winding, yeah no pools for now, that's for certain. I'm glad you reminded me. And I thought about the meds., but obv., I can't stop those. I'm using an Aryuvedic toothpaste for now; it's called Auromere.

I might try the iodine, but I do know I have a slight sensitivity, so I can't do very high amounts.

Razzle, there you go again, giving me great advice! I thought about using Dr. Bronner's, but it seemed so harsh, especially on the private parts, that I figured maybe it was too harsh. Also, it's expensive, although there are some copycats.

For now, I'm just taking detox baths with a little Epsom salt, a little Himalayan salt, and Bentonite Clay. I take them after my FAR sauna, and that seems to be cleansing my body. I wash my hands with some kind of unscented, shea castile soap. I'm washing my hair with baking soda and B clay, and I'm using a baking soda, B Clay paste for deodorant. The deodorant could be improved, but it's better than nothing.

Now, my last problem is the house, which is full of dust and dirt from the dogs. It also still has a mold problem, which I imagine will get better in the winter. Then there's my friend who wears perfume. I don't know her quite well enough to tell her, and she's the head librarian at the library, so I imagine she feels she has to wear it. S---! Yes, I know what you're going to tell me.

I'm gradually turning the heat up in the FAR, but I don't particularly like it.

The ammonia BOs and pees and poos are getting better. No meningitis like symptoms, and it looks I'm in between Babs flares. We'll see what happens!! It's going to be interesting.

BTW everyone, I have been using Ivory soap to brush my teeth for over 3 years, teeth/gums never been better even my Dentist is amazed.. google Dr Judd brushing teeth with soap.. not only is it cheap but no fluoride and my teeth are so white! LOVE IT!!

I guess there is so much you can do to detox. I just looked at an organic bed and geez, it was like $5k. Too rich for me. Commercial mattresses are chock full of chemicals and we spend so much time on them...

Anyway, food and the body products are obvious. Have you worked on cleaning supplies too?

It's hard, so you have to find a balance, but I don't eat anything out of a can. The hard one for me is drinking water out of plastic bottles.
I try to use a water filter if I can.

I think the crystal deodorant has aluminum salts in it! Plus, underarms have a lot of lymph nodes, unfortunately for sweaty, stinky creatures like us!

I know this post is years old, but I came on here in hopes for some info. I switched to aluminum free deodorant which mostly took away my cat urine/ ammonia smelling armpit sweat. It's all about unblocking the sweat glands I guess.
