I have had Lyme for many years. My new symptom: annoying PVCs. I've been on atenolol for cardio issues early on. Now this. I just tried bystolic-- I think it's worse. Anyone have PVCs? What are you taking? They are so bad they are keeping up at me up at night and they are getting worse. Thanks

Me me me!! I've had so many cardiac manifestions. My cardiologist said I have "SA node dysfunction". I have arrythmias, PACs, PVCs, bigeminy, trigeminy, and heart rates have gone up in high 170s. I was prescribed Labetelol... I don't take it because my BP runs 90/60. It sucks!! Amoxicillin made it worse. I will have periods where it calms down and then periods of time where it ramps back up. It is by far the scariest symptom and most difficult to deal with.

Maine, where have you been?

Tulip, I use Bystolic. It helps, but maybe you should give it more time? That's what cardios typically use for irregular heart rates.

Sorry you have to deal with this.

Btw, our blood pressures typically do run low, and our heart rates are high.

Yes I have PVCs, minor compared to what your describing.

I just wanted to add my two cents on what Mister Mike said about Hawthorn. Since I started taking it, it has helped tremendously. Almost normalized my low blood pressure, helped with the POTS and the beat skipping. It is a accumulation effect though, so it took about 2 weeks to notice a difference. This is normal according to Buhner. It might be worth a try! Hang tough

I tried bystolic again. No help. in fact I think they are harder with that than atenolol. I see my llmd next week I may get him to call the cardiologist. My cardiologist said there is a procedure to stop it But we have to go the med route first. She knows what I am experiencing is real. I wore a halter monitor and she said I had well over 2000.

For you I had three weeks straight where every secund and or third beat was a PVC. I also wore halter monitors, stress echos etc.... So you may have an ablation? My doc said it was too risky and that te condition was "most likely not life threatening".

I think ablation is a long way away. But she suggested it if they can't control it with meds.
