OK, also, how much does it take to penetrate cysts?

I am not sure of prices, but from personal experience, a little goes a long way. Meaning, starting low, one drop per day, and see how things go/feel, then if all well, do 2 drops the next day, and I'd probably stay on 2 drops a day for a few days. if all goes well, go up to 3 drops/day, few days, etc.
I had a really bad herx that lasted 2 days because I started too high a dose. I was kicking myself for many days afterward.
Good luck. It's good stuff. Hope it works well for you, too!

It's my son - he's already herxing and messed up and failing school that he wanted -full 10th honors... might as well add a bit while we are a mess - dr. has not ordered yet, not sure if I should do it.

AWE, so sorry to hear!! GSE is VERY strong, but is supposed to work well, ONLY if you buy the correct BRAND!
There was a very long thread on here a while back about
it, I will look for it if you would like via my email and post the link - let me know
In the meantime, from the thread, it was discussed that many of the GSE brands are actually contaminated and estrogenic! This explained my headaches and severe anxiety as side effects of the GSE. Do be careful with it. The only brand that was considered safe was Nutribiotic.
I have to tell you, it is not for everyone. I tried it several times and could not handle it. I just got sick from it - my doctor took me off it and said that many of her patients had issues with it.
Does your son take Serrazymes or Teasel Root? I handled those very well. They are not cyst busters, but serrazymes is a biofilm buster and teasel draws the lyme out of the joints.

oh, and if you decide to go ahead with it - the drops are only about
$13 on amazon.

If you go with Nutribiotic, get the Maximum GSE (1 oz) bottle - that is the original formula with Citricidal (its the only one that works).
@Chapelle - I didn't hear anything about
Nutribiotic brand being the safest, in fact it was the one under the most criticism...

Stretegy - ??? I do remember a lyme forum member mentioning nutribiotic being one of the better ones. I can't find the thread b/c I don't think I ever wrote anything on it - so it's not showing up on my email. =(
Did you hear of which one is the safest?

I am taking the "Pure Encapsulations" GSE and seems to be pretty good, although I don't really know if it is making me herx or not. Apparently they offer pharmaceutical quality.

Our daughter had a horrible reaction to GSE. I have never figured out what happened, but be careful when you start dosing. Our LLMD recommended 1 drop on her toothbrush to help with the plaque buildup from abx.
After 2 drops (1 days worth), all heck broke loose. She started motor and vocal ticcing like I had never seen before. All of her PANDAS symptoms returned - OCD, urinary frequency, loss of fine motor control, loss of math/writing skills, emotional lability. She was a mess. I didn't catch on for about
a week and kept dosing. By the time I discontinued GSE her ticcing was so bad she couldn't read or speak properly. It took several weeks of increased anti-inflammatories (curcumin and knotweed) to get back to baseline.
Both the LLMD and I assumed that it was die-off of some sort, but Buhner's associate suggested that GSE may have interfered with function of the P450 liver enzyme pathway (the way grapefruit does), decreasing the ability to detox, and thus a buildup of toxins.
At any rate, I always associate our daughter's Tourette's symptoms with toxin buildup of some sort. So just be careful.

Wow, thank you all. I think I will wait for the dr. then. My son's OCD, TICS and raging are bad enough right now... don't think i can handle worse!
Thanks for the technical info and quality info I have to put this in a word document so i can save it.

Our LLMD had no idea that our daughter's negative reaction would occur, and your's may not either. Just be aware and reduce dosage or discontinue if you notice anything out of the ordinary.
I have never seen mention of others having the reaction we did with GSE.
