I'm working on month 6 of heavy ABX. When I started treatment, I was given an estimated time frame of around 6 months for things to start slowly improving based on how long the doctor initially thought I had been infected. Well, here we are, month 6, and I've never felt worse. As treatment progressed and we dug deeper into my medical history, it became pretty apparent that the infection I thought I had for 3 years has been around for closer to 12.
I honestly would really try not to give yourself a time oriented goal. Take it a day at a time and just look forward to a better future. Count every small improvement as a major victory (I mean even if it's as small as like 2 less eye floaters that day lol).
If you give yourself a magic month where you "should" be seeing improvement and you don't, it's really emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically devastating. There are so many factors at play that treatment times vary wildly from case to case.
