Well, I can't really say the medication is not working. I haven't had nearly as many panicky nights but the dizziness and visual disturbances are constant with and w/o the medicine. I'm only taking 20mg a day. I guess I'm little afraid of stopping it in case I start have the night attacks. I really don't want to go back down that road so maybe I'll stick with it until I see a LLMD. Yes, I would very much like for you to email me. I live close to Marietta and Roswell. Thank you so much.

Hi ToTheTop,
I took Trazadone for 5 years - mainly for sleep issues, but it's still an antidepressant. It took me 2 years to taper down to 67mgs, but I could get no lower on my own. In order to get off of it, I had to switch to Ambein and then come off of that, but it worked!!
So are you saying that even when taking Celexa at a regular daily dose did you no good? If so, then I wouldn't take it. If, on the other hand it did help, why not stay on it until you can get treatments started? Sometimes we have to take what little help we can get where ever we can get it.
Since your doc isn't Lyme literate, you are looking to get in to see one, right? I'm sorry I haven't posted to you yet. If you haven't found one yet, if you will send me an email I have a listing of a LLMD in Roswell and in Marietta if you are interested. I'd be happy to share that information with you.
