Purple boils on inner thighs

Hi everyone,

wondering if anyone has any idea what this could be. For the past few years I get very painful purple boils on my inner thighs that go from: lump under the surface -> Purple boil -> very dark purple boil -> then slowly goes down and leaves a hideous black mark that doesn't heal. Is this some sort of infection? related to lyme?

Wow. This is unreal. I have the same exact issue and I suspect I have lyme. Now I did test positive for having lyme in a basic lab test, but they said the virus wasn't currently active, but I have had these for a couple years now and they are extremely painful.
Sometimes so much so it's difficult to walk and sometimes they will randomly burst. It's quite disgusting. If I do test positive for lyme in the stricter tests I go through I will definitely let you know.

thanks for the reply dfrasier, yeah that would be cool. I've never been tested for lyme, but it's very ovbious I have it. I was bitten by a tick, then a year later i slowly felt worse and worse until I was forced to leave college. I still have the bite mark, it never healed for some reason.

I used to get boils when my body was overloaded with toxins and I was under a lot of stress - maybe that's what's going on? We all know that we are under a lot of stress!
