Hello All,

My palpitations have decreased

I've noticed I've had an increase in the flashing lights in my right eye, and am very tired ...even more than usual.

Also did anyone have GOUT for a few days when having lyme? I had it back July and it was very strange...woke up one day and couldn't walk.

That is the strange thing about healing Lyme and co-infections: you will find as your treatment goes on that symptoms rotate in and out and new ones crop up.

It is important to continue treatment until all symptoms are gone.

I'm glad your palpitations are resolved, they can be unsettling.

I'm actually going through something similar with my symptoms right now. I'm coming to the end of my second month of treatment. I've been on augmentin for the two months and buhner's protocol for about a month, plus vitamins. Symptoms like my air hunger and throat issues will come and go. But a couple of symptoms, like some muscle ticks and internal vibrations that disappeared early in my treatment are coming back. I was very disconcerted about it, but my new LLMD explained that it was normal for Lyme patients to go through that.

It's rough when you start to see some improvements and then it feels like you've taken a few steps back. I honestly had forgotten about some symptoms until they returned.

It is great that the palpitations have decreased. Those can be scary. I had a few days where I woke up to my heart racing and that really, really scared me. But mine also went away and I'm hoping I don't see that again any time soon.

I'm not sure about the gout. Have you asked you're LLMD about it? Have you had issues with gout in the past? Is there anything in your diet that could have triggered it? Lyme does affect everyone differently, so it's not outside the realm of possibilities, but I would eliminate any other causes for it just to be sure.

I had a Rheumatologist initially diagnose me with gout when I was having increasing joint pain and stiffness in my joints. She later changed her diagnosis to some form or arthritis. I started to see my first LLMD and she didn't support the Lyme diagnosis. I fired her when she wanted to put me on steroids.

For symptoms I started with a list on my top ten issues. I then added dates (1 thru 31) across the top of the page and tracked each symptom daily and gave them a 1 to 10 rating on severity. As new symptoms popped up simply add them to the bottom of the list. This gives you a nice month by month comparison to see what symptoms are improving and what is staying the same and needs attention. If I were to do it over I would only rate severity on a 0 thru 5 scale.

Normal , keep on, it's just it's working and the *****er tries to hide somewhere else, Eyes, Nerves are ultimate paths, after there is just the bin,

Duration is the key, to get rid of Bacteria, Cyst, Biofilms and Eggs, its cycle is long...
Hang in there, i have noticed that a rotation of abx can be beneficial too
3 months for me and 80% of neuro and physic back, there is hope...

If you aren't detoxing, then you definitely need to start. We have some very good and effective suggestions in the "New to Lyme?" thread that sits at the top of the forum.

If you are detoxing, then you need to step up your detoxing routines by adding in more detoxing therapies.
