I'm in the US, but Infectolab just sent me a test kit DHL to utilize by having a Dr. withdrawl a blood sample and send back within 2-3 days. I know the issues that non LLMD's seem to have with my IGENEX results (non FDA assays, etc), so i'm assuming I will get the same Dr. feedback with this, but does anyone have any feedback on this before I pay the money to send it back to Germany for a confirmation test?

I'm in Europe and I had the Infectolab test done (only the Borrelia LTT Elispot, not the tests for coinfections).

My dr uses this test all the time, but let's say it's not appreciated by many. Most of other drs refuse to look at the test.
The LTT test for M Tuberculosis was recognized by the FDA:

But you are probably not really helped with this, since I'm European...

Can I ask why are you doing this extra test? Your Igenex test was positive. Do you have trouble finding a llmd in your area?

Ihave had 2 infectolab tests so far through my llmd. I had thought they were supposed to be the most accurate, according to my dr. I guess they are- but I am not sure. My first test was low level positive, when I was very symptomatic. And my second test after about almost 6 months of treatment came back a slightly higher positive- but my doctor said since my symptoms are mostly gone that this may indicate "memory cells" and does not indicate necessarily still infection- so I felt discouraged bothe by the results and by paying the money for the second test only to still have confusion about my status. Still, my dr sad they are still perfecting the test.

I was looking for something to help my decision making. I have some good LLMD's that would go on my IGENEX test and symptoms. The only issue is that I have had many other labs done all negative and a small detail, but important was that my first sign of anything wrong was chest pain after a heavy chest that turned into pericarditis. My wife had come home that same week earlier with the same symptom but hers went away. My infection led to all of my symptoms for months. Now I have what appears to be a viral onset of progressive M.S. with heart and finger joint problems.

I tried almost two months of lyme meds without any changes and did a four day trial of low dose iv steroids due to the progressive symptoms with Brain lesions. My LLMD is trying to get in touch with Dr. Harris at IGENEX to see about my low positive test results to see if he can give any insights on cross reactivity. Its so confusing since I didn't recall a bite or rash. Basically going off symptoms and igenex, but viral induced MS or autoimmune fits. Supposedly my HHV6 titers were a bit high, but no one seems to know a lot about that issue.
