Can anyone tell me if my symptom of not feeling grounded is normal for lyme or mono? It almost feels like I'm not on the earth and like life does not seem real to me and I do not feel fully there. I am trying to think what can cause this? It is a really scary symptom and it makes me feel like I am dying or something.
I figured like the only thing that could cause this symptom was if someone was dying or something. It is one of the most scary things I have ever experienced and I deal with it on a daily basis along with the feeling of general malaise.
I do not know what to think of this symptom. I feel like I am floating or don't feel right in my body and it gives me panic, but I just have to calm it down by trying not to think about it.
So I ask is there a science behind this symptom? I want it to go away, I know what feeling like a normal person feels like and with this symptom or feeling I should say, I never feel normal or grounded.
Before this I felt stable and fine and then one day I looked at my hands and my body and things did just not feel right, I was like "whoa what the heck is going on here". It was like I instanstly felt like I was on a bad high from weed or something.
My question is has anyone else had this symptom constantly and how did you make it go away, and also what causes it to happen? I have had it for 6 months now and it has let up a bit but ultimately it still ruins me.
