My daughter was diagnosed in July 2014 with lymes and Bartonella, its chronic as she went undiagnosed for more 6 years. Had 2 visits with a great doc and was doing very well, then the Dr had to close his doors. Now that she has no more medication she has since relapsed. She can barely do day to day things and is extremely emotional. We live in warren county NJ, northwest NJ. Please if any one could email me some doctors so that I can get her back on track. It breaks my heart to see her go thru this and knowing it happens everyday to so many people. Thanks.

I live in central NJ and use an LLMD in Howell. I have been going to him on and off for about a year now. I am also going to another Dr in NYC who is not an LLMD but is very LL. It is virtually impossible to get an appointment with him. It took me 4 months to get my first appointment. The LLMD in Howell seems a little weird, but he does specialize in LD and treats fairly aggressively. If you PM me I can give you his name and number. I know it is far from Warren County, so hopefully you will get information from other members for a closer LLMD.

I'm sorry your daughter is going through this! As folks will tell you, it will be easiest if you enable your email access in your profile. That way people can direct message/email you names of doctors they know of in your area. Someone was kind enough to reach out to me in this way and I was able to get in to see their recommended doctor pretty quickly, within about 10 days. So tell your daughter to hang in there!

If you contact Ilads, and register, they will send you a list. Also, if you google LLMD in N.J., names do come up.
I believe there is one in West Caldwell. I am from the shore area and go to the dr. in Howell as well. It's a bit of a ride for you though.

How old is your daughter? The dr in Howell does not treat anyone under sixteen.
