hair loss

is anyone else losing hair since starting treatment? Every time i wash my hair, i lose so much! I have Lyme, mycoplasma pneumoniae, Chlamydia pneumoniae and Epstein Barr virus.
I did read somewhere that mycoplasma will cause hair loss, or could it be from herxing, doxy or herbals or just plain stress? Anyone?

There are many threads on this forum about hair loss—might be good for you to do a search for them to see if there is anything that might relate to your situation.
My LLMD and I are not sure what is going on.

My thyroid levels look good with the meds I'm on so we're thinking it's inflammation, which also seems under control given some of the other sx that have been addressed successfully with japanese knotweed and wobenzyme+ and increased detoxing.

But there could still be other problems… wish I knew how to stop the hairless—I am going bald. My hairloss is also throughout my entire body. I can count the numbers of hairs on my legs. I'm at 19 now on my R leg!

My hands started peeling when I started taking A-Bab and A-Bart. My feet also got clammy and sweaty. strange!

Usedtogarden, did your hair grow back after? No skin peeling,but my thumb nails are separating from my thumbs, freaky!!

WOW. yes, of course—that is the way to describe what is happening with my nails. Thank you. Yes- the nail is separating from the nail bed. it is so gross and makes them so sensitive… hate it. I read this was a yeast overgrowth/fungal issue (which I have) but I don't know.

The hair did grow back, but what seemed to have grown back is grey.
I've gotten more greys since my acute Lyme.
I think my hair has definitely lost some luster, though :(

I'm sorry, as I don't remember the fingernail issue, just the skin peeling off around them, the fingers & toes & heels.

After my treatments, my hair went very white - I've now got enough white in my hair that most people mistake me for a blonde..... my hair used to be red.

My hair has always been very fine textured - like a newborn baby's hair - and very, very straight!!! Although I have had some hair loss, it's not been extensive, but very noticeable to me. When I was healed for those 2 years before being reinfected, my braid literally doubled in size!! I was amazed!

At one point in time before I had any treatments, my nails and hair stopped growing. They grew enough to maintain their length, but I never had to trim my nails or my hair.

One of the things that I do that has helped the health of my hair tremendously is use coconut oil on it! Because my hair is fairly long (I don't quite sit on it), I put coconut oil on it and braid it overnight. This gives it time to really soak in well. I wash my hair the next day and it looks much better. If I do this a couple of times a week, two times in a month, my hair literally feels like silk. I started doing this as a alternative to conditioner (less toxins in, less toxins I have to help remove!!), and because if it's so good for the body, I figured it had to be helpful to the hair as well. Now I'm just glad I know to do this!

I've had some hair loss and my daughter lost a fair amount, but it seems to have stopped. She has a lot more hair than I do and a different type. I have straight, fine hair too.

Well if you are going to play mysterious like that we certainly don't need you on here. We are serious people, looking for healing - not more mysteries. If you are who I think you are, don't worry.
