Tinidazole Herx!!

Your symptoms could definitely could be a herx - and it sounds like bartonella to me with shin and sole pain. Tindamax was one of the stronger abx our daughter took during bartonella treatment and her herxes were significant and pretty immediate (within hours of the first dose).

I'm glad you have a doctor that realizes these strong herxes need time to detox, and is using a pulsed protocol. Our daughter pulsed 3 days on / 4 days off. We found that the initial herx at the beginning of tindamax treatment was the worst. After that the herxes became progressively less intense until, when there was not much of a reaction to dosage, we weaned to an herbal bartonella protocol and have been going great since then.

I also had immediate and violent herxes with Tindazol. A lot of vomit and mucus "attacks" and total weakness. Over time, it got much easier. Until I started Byron White's A-BAB and then the herxes were very violent again but mercifully short.

It all has worked, though, and I am feeling well.

I hope you can get through this difficult part quickly.
