Chest pains

Chest pain is a very common manifestation of Lyme - this is documented in Dr. H's book that I'm reading right now.

Still, a cardiac workup would be appropriate if you can do it. IMHO, heart health is just too important to do otherwise.

Also, I hope you are stepping up your detox protocols. It's really best to minimize herxing...that is yet another aspect of healing that is redundant throughout the Lyme books I've read. Herxing can increase inflammation and I'm sure you're aware of the cascade effect of *that*.

During one of my many hospital visits as I went undiagnosed.
They did a eco-cardiogram and my heart looked good. That was back in May.
I also wore a heart monitor about two months ago, (because of heart palpitations).
That also showed normal.
So it seems that the pain is Lyme related. except this is a new symptom.

Traveler....I finished the Core Restore 14 days ago. Restarted my Doxy and supplements 12 days ago. I am also experiencing plenty of episodes of air hunger today.

That's sounding like a herx to the Doxy or some of the supplements then. You may have re-started them just in time to catch them coming out "to play". Did you re-start each thing separately, or did you just re-start them pretty much at the same time?

Once you get an idea of what may have triggered these symptoms, you can back down on it until you can get a hold of your doc to see what they wish you to do - which is why I'm pestering you with all of these questions.

Ya....hm. If anything changes you should call your doc right away. Mine told me the antibiotics have a bad effect on the hearts of people with lyme. Did your monitor say you had palpitations, pvc, pac, tachycardia bradycardia anything?

If it was completely clear then I wouldn't worry unless it's from your medication.

IHL-The heart monitor showed completely normal?? (Good I guess).

So I took a turn for the worse yesterday, even after starting to feel better. Must of been the calm before the storm.
I instantly felt very lightheaded, headache very faint pathetically weak, could hardly walk, major brain fog and my sinus's clogging up making it very hard to breath. Oh yea cant forget about the whole body trimmers. {no chest pains though)
I then check my blood pressure..... Holy ####, 156/96, I usually run just below normal 115/75ish. So now it is decision time, Emergency room or not? I decided to take half of a Lorazopam and see if that calms me down. It took a while but my BP came down out of the danger zone. I still felt very lightheaded and faint, so did not go to the hospital.
Million dollar question is.....Was that a "monster Herx"?
This morning I feel like crap and my BP is slightly higher than normal.
I decided not to take my antibiotics and supplements today, until I talk to my doctor and tell him what happened.

Ya please let us know! My BP has been 280/180 to 70/60. I've seen my bottom number be 40. The lowest beats per minute I've ever seen was 40, and the highest 199. Pretty scary.

What coinfections do you have? Do you know?

My heart it seems got worse overnight. It deteriorated very quickly. Call your doc ASAP!

Good idea! I was prescribed Propanolol, but couldn't take it very much becuase my BP would plummet. Hawthorne 2 caps twice a day has REALLY made a difference! My BP is almost always regular since Ive been taking it. It was pretty immediate relief too, within a couple days is all.

But really, my issues started seeming benign, and then BAM! All the sudden just one day is starting behaving erractically, and has ever since. My LLND blames it on the chlamydia pnuemoniae.
