Do any of you have trouble maintaining an even body temp?
I get a lot of chills throughout the day intermingled with a few hot flashes.

Could this be a result of my struggling adrenals?
My LLND says I have POTS and feels it will get better as we treat lyme and co's.

Is POTS and body temp dysregulation related?

What about dysautonmia?

He did offer me a low dose cortisone if I wanted but I chose herbs instead - I"m thinking now that maybe I should go on the cortisone.

Should I do a saliva test first? Or is just trying it and seeing if I feel better all I need to do?

That's me too, for years. My adrenals are pretty bad, as are all my hormones. I had saliva tests done, so I have a good idea where things are at with that.

I'm sure all of that being out of balance is contributing to all of my symptoms, and when I took Cat's Claw and also Samento, my temp became much more regulated.

I know that as I continue eating right, with high nutrients and supplements, my Adrenals/hormones, etc will start to get better, but it's a slow process.

I hope you get some help and results soon.

Soaring Free - so you didn't take thyroid meds or cortisone for adrenals? So you are doing an herbal treatment - no abx for lyme?

My blood pressure is good - 105/68 - in that area.

I do think it's a result of lyme as I was so healthy prior to the p--p hitting the fan a year and a half ago.

But I guess the question is can it all heal with lyme treatment alone - and no meds for adrenals.

I am supporting the adrenals with ashwaganda, sib ginseng, vits, lots of sleep, reduction in stress.

I've been on hydrocortisone and I still have a hard time with temperature. Not sure if it's heart related but I'm sure at least some of the time it is. I think when my heart rate goes above about 120 I start sweating and feel really hot.
