Hi everyone.

So the last post I did I was asking for herbs to try and promote herx that would suggest that I do have lyme. I bought Herb Pharm whole olive leaf and took double the dosage and I had 0 herx. Would that suggest I don't have Lyme?

Currently the symptoms I have are:

Shaky weakness from the knee down and from the elbow down.
Around 2pm-3pm everyday I will feel as though I have been hit by a car and I will have to rest/sleep for 2-3 hours. The otherday I was at my grandma's house and her next door neighbor said my name 3 times and clicking his fingers before I even noticed, I felt spaced out. It also feels like I'm drunk during this time.
It feels as though clenching my fist drains of my energy almost instantly whilst I am feeling like that.

It always comes between 2pm-3pm no matter what, it's strange..


My symptoms are diminishing with diet, dry brushing and a good routine. but these just will not give up.
I Ordered a urinalysis for heavy metals which showed up as having Lead. Maybe it's that? I don't know.

thanks for any advice. P.s. If you haven't tried dry brushing, you really should - made a huge difference for my fatigue.

Glad you are getting some relief by doing the dry brushing.

The lead certainly isn't helping things and could produce the symptoms you describe. It would be a good idea to address that. Your doctor can help.

Herxes don't necessarily come immediately. Some people have to be in treatment for a while before that happens.

The thing that keeps drawing me back to Lyme is I still have the mark where the tick has bitten me (12 years ago now). It never fully healed over, I haven't come across a person that has had that yet though. I will go to the doctor and ask about the lead analysis, I don't even bother talking about lyme with them because here in the UK every doctor dismisses or says it only lasts 1 month even without treatment..

I've seen an article that was talking about a non-healing tick bite a result of a tick that was carrying Lyme I believe - if not Lyme, then it was one of the other tick-borne infections. It came out fairly recently, you might try searching online for it.

Did it look like any of these pictures ( may be considered graphic)?: goo.gl/2TYWAL This is known as a "Black eschar from a tick bite" and is often connected to Rickettsia diseases (like Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever) here in the U.S.

I scrolled through pictures and found this http://www.lymemd.org/quiz_answers.html and mine looks like the top one except it isn't red anymore. I guess it's fine. just strange that It never healed over.. I feel so lost on what to do. I'm making great progress this year where I will be feeling better than I have previously then feel terrible for a day or two, and this seems to be repeating every week without fail.

I recently wanted to try and build my strength up and looked in convict conditioning, but even a few knee push ups gets me all shaky and i have to lay down. I want to get in shape so much.

one more thing, I feel this very strange feeling of 'ghosting'.. hard to describe. I will be holding a railing and i will feel as though my feelings are delayed to where my arm actually is? for example i will move my hand from behind me forward but feel as though there is a second delay. It just adds to this 'spaced out' feeling.

There is a chance that you are *just* dealing with adrenal issues (I say *just* because I have serious adrenal issues so I know how bad things can get) - but since this all followed a tick bite, I too would really lean towards it being cause by tick-borne infections - there's lots of them!

I may be able to help you find a LLMD in the UK, we can at least try! If you would send me an email by clicking on the blue envelope under my name, and include the area you live in or work in and I'll do my best to get someone as close to you as possible.

The other option you have is to treat this herbally on your own.

I'll be getting off the computer soon, so I may not answer until tomorrow.

Thanks Traveler, you're kind. I'm going to walk up to the doctors today and check with my grandma's doctor (old guy, may be more experienced) and ask about Lead levels and my current symptoms. The problem is money is an issue, so it will no doubt be herbal protocol for me.
