I am treating a vaginal infection with Monistat--as I posted
earlier but now I think I have a UTI also. I could scream
this is nuts--now I have to go to the clinic again.

Have any of you had both at the same time and isn't dealing with
Lyme enough for me? (is it all due to Lyme or unrelated)

Gosh, sorry you are so uncomfortable.

The UTI can be caused by the same yeast that is giving you the vaginal infection. So when you go to the clinic they may say you don't have a UTI.

The thing with Lyme is that any malady you have is simply made far worse. And any malady makes your Lyme symptoms worse. It is a horrible situation, but you will get past all this.

I'm still in the process of testing but the first symptoms I had were feeling like I had a UTI with negative tests and then recurrent bacterial and yeast infections, over and over again. Do you have any co infections?

Yes, I have babesia along with the lyme. And I have had many UTI's but never have a vag inf also. But the itching is crazy and now even tho I am using Monistat the symptoms are not getting better. And there is a greenish, yellow streaking on the pads I use.

I wonder if Urgent Care will do a pelvic exam along with checking my urine???

Urgent care should absolutely do a pelvic exam. They are trained to do that and look for things like ovarian cysts, etc.

I went to the Urgent care and I do have a UTI and the vag stuff is negative. He said the crazy itching is from dry skin or allergic reaction to soap so I have a steroid cream rx and an abx rx to get.

He also said that I should NOT be taking all the other abx for LD because that is baloney. He said I could be doing more harm to myself. And all my illness is from fibro or lupus or depression.
Wow, I feel doubtful on all this now!
