Is it Lyme?

I was told by my naturopath she's confident to treat me for lyme.

IFA positive 80.
IGenex IgM was IND on bands 39, 41 and 58 IgG was IND on band 39 and positive on bands 41 and 58.
I went to an LLMD and was told that does not prove its lyme and it could be something else, he has me doing a culture test, as of 3 weeks ago it was still inconclusive. It's in culture til mid January, if it doesn't come out positive he will not treat me. So, now I decided to see a function medicine Dr/
LLMD, but cannot get in until March. I do have a lot of lyme symptoms that came on quickly April 2013 and eventually got more n more. First symptom was ringing in left ear, depersonalization (out if it, dream like states) off balance, blurry vision, extreme chronic fatigue, adrenals out of control..high in morning then drops by noon n very low all day till bedtime, racing heart/palpitations, hot flashes, cant find words, can't concentrate, lose conversations in the middle of them, eye n head pressure, brain fog, then air hunger, half glass of alcohol made me instantly drunk etc..all tests normal, except I'm all the sudden anemic and low on vitamin b and magnesium and folic acid, and recently my RBCs are out of whack..I was told tests dont prove lyme one way or the other?!?

I've seen two different ILADS doctors and both would say that you have enough bands to seriously consider Lyme along with symptoms. Both would treat you. My son had fewer bands and was treated. You may not get lucky enough to show even on a culture test. I would pursue a good LLMD who will know what to do and what to further test for. Yes, the good docs will have a wait. You can look into things you can start to do as far as diet and supplements prior to doc appointment.
On LymeNet.org there is a posting of all the reasons you can test negative and still have Lyme disease.
I've been on treatment for 4.5 years and have gone from very sick to 95% functional. My advice is to get educated and be ready to advocate for your health.

Thank you, I've been researching and also joined a lyme group so I can learn more and more. I've learned so much in the last few months, so thankful for everyone I have come in contact with and have learned a lot about it through their own personal stories. However, this llmd really through me off by just throwing out the door with no real answers or treatment.

Thank you, I read through all of that and have been doing the Epsom salts n also a Castrol oil pack too. I found a new llmd I can get I to March 4th. He wrote a book I just read, he's very compassionate and is there for his patients, he's a functional medicine dr. I have a friend who has benefited from him so I'm looking forward to it!

Are you interested in what each of those bands indicate on the tests? I'd be happy to list them for you. Bands 22, 25, 28, 31, 34, 37, 39, 83 & 93 are all Lyme specific and you tested IND (which means indeterminate - neither negative nor fully positive) on bands 31, 39 of those that are specific for Lyme - so you have Lyme.

Your symptoms are nearly exactly like mine. The culture testing is as inaccurate as the bloodwork, from what I've read. It's good that the LLMD is being cautious with the antibiotics but I agree w/ T, sounds like an Infectious Disease MD who isn't confident enough (experienced enough) to make a clinical diagnosis. A good LLMD (and you don't want anyone else messing around with lyme & co) will be able and willing to make a clinical diagnosis.

I had negative tests in the beginning and my LLMD "provoked" a more accurate/stronger immune response by giving me Olive Leaf Extract for 4 wks before retesting. You can do that on your own from now until your next visit with a real LLMD.
