Well, none of us know the day or the time, or what will happen for death to come.... All we know is that everyday that passes, takes us closer to that not so desired day. We do not know if these bacteria are what will take some there... Could be.... But it also could be that you die of a fall, car accident, even sitting at the comfort of your own couch.
Life is not garanteed. I strongly believe that we are predestined and destiny will make things happen so that we do not miss that date with death.
I hear people saying "if only i would have been home, he/she would be alive...." Now, destiny made the arrangements for you not to be there because it was that person's time.
I knew a client where i work, he was a retired heart surgeon. He was 99 years old. Very independent, good reasoning and judgment. He will conversate and remember everything... Hard to believe that he was 99.
His wife was planning to celebrate his 100 with a big surprise party. Now, this man used to swim every day and his wife was always by his side in their luxurious home. Two weeks before his 100 birthday, he was sitting on the beach chair by the pool with his wife as usual. His wife remembered that she had to go and drive somewhere (she never specified where and i did not ask). She told him not to get in the pool till she come back. She left and when she came back, he was at the bottom of the pool. She jumpped in and pulled him out. She started CPR, but he was gone. Very sad.
He went to swim just like he has done for years. He felt that he was still in good shape and never though that something would to go wrong... So he ignored the fact that his wife told him not to get in the pool till she came back. I think that in order for him to die at his appointed time, arranges were made to make that possible. His wife was not there and he was alone. I think that even if his wife was there, he would have drowned along with her, but it was not her time. If they would both have been by the pool and not gotten in, he would have probably collapsed and die right in front of her eyes.
We ALL have a day and time that we will not escape, and if we do, then it was not the day or time for us.
Yes it is wise to have every legal document ready before that day arrives. Unfotunately or fortunately we are standing in line and do not know when it is our turn.
I believe in the word of God which gives me hope and not to fear that day. I know death awaits, but i continue to focus on the things that will help me heal. Thinking of death can make dipressed, not because of dying, but because you do not want to miss out your loved ones.
