my hands have been mildly tingling for over a year and pain that came and went in hands. Pain in shoulders and a hard time carrying things (pain and perceived weakness). Now both my arms and hands tingling, numbness comes and goes, pain and fasciculations in arms and shoulders. Also have periodic tingling and burning in legs. Has anyone else experienced this. All replies are greatly appreciated

Tested lyme positive in aug 2014 (igenex)

Mikes44, each of these sound too close to home. My llmd thinks more bartonella, but at my last appointment he thought my symptoms were broad enough to be concerned about lyme as well. I'm 3 days into a 5-7 month bartonella regimen. So far, just rifampin....adding azithromycin and plaquenil over the next couple weeks. I'll keep you posted on whether I see these symptoms improve wi

I developed many of those issues after starting treatment. My hands would go numb....sometimes my left leg....other times my feet. I had what I call "buggy feelings" that were so bad one night I had trouble falling asleep. Sometimes the left side of my face feels frozen cold....and I've had parts of my face go numb - especially around the left side of my mouth.

I also developed internal vibrations (feels like a cell phone vibrating) that I got mostly in my left knee, occasionally in my left ankle and in my right hip just for a little fun once in awhile.

Since I've been taking pinella and Alka Seltzer Gold, those internal vibrations have been replaced by a milder and less frequent buzzing sensation - usually the left knee....or either ankle. I now also get poking sensations in the lower part of both legs and a very occasional other body part lol

I never know which symptom(s) I'm going to have on any given day....and they certainly come and go throughout the day.

I can sometimes wake up with no symptoms and symptoms are usually a bit more severe in the evening.

So far, full moons have brought on joint and bone pain.

Lyme is weird....and annoying to deal with lol

Yes this came on really strong after starting treatment in august, and I get the vibration thing to in my left leg, like a cel phone on mild vibrate. Symptoms are more severe in the evening as well, almost unbearable at times. Nothing ever in my face (yet). Thank you for the reply, and in a strange way you have made me feel better today. I had the buzzing, painfull hands/ wrists with my initial symptoms. Inflamation in any muscles from the neck to the hands will do this and pinch the nerves.

I still do treat with nerve glides that was taught to me and Active Release Technique from a chiropracter (no cracking involved).

Sounds like small fiber neuropathy. My sfn has only gotten worse with abx. It's so painful!

Recently started LDN. This might be helpful with piferal neuropathy pain. Do a search. Too early to tell if it's helping. rolleyes
