Week:4 Sponaugle Wellness

I did say I'd update regular about my stay here but I never know what to put!

So now i am beginning my 4th week here and got my feet under the door and discovered the area and how things work over here with the labs chemists etc.

The first week I was here I was on detox drips to mop up loose toxins in my body that night I felt terrible, the Dr explained that I was beginning to kill already, I was then put on a combo of drips, 1) to pull toxins out,
2) to heal nerves and the brain and 3) the detox to mop up loose toxins.

I can only handle the combo drips 3 times a week as they really take it out of you, the other 2 days I do the detox drips (along with a big arsenal of supplements to be taken daily)

Although it's hard to define what symptoms are current and which ones are just dorment ive definitely seen a dramatic improvement In my brain fog which is great.

I'm looking forward to my body being able to tolerate the kill drips! That's when all the actions begins!

That's all I have to report really I won't update everyweek maybe once every 4 weeks? If anyone has any questions I'd be glad to answer them! Hope everyone is baring up okay.

**I see that everybody encourages you on this forum to visit Ilads, what is this, I've only heard about it really as I've been here In the US? The reason I ask is because Dr Sponaugle was just accepted to join the Ilads association, I tried asking a nurse what this meant but she was kinda busy putting a needle in someone's arm. What I'm trying ask is, is my weekly fee at the clinic likely to rise now that he's a member of this association??

Good luck with your treatment and keep a + attitude. Being + will contribute to your healing along with your treatment. You've been ill for a long time so it will take a while putting all the pieces together. It sounds like you are getting a lot of stuff done.

LLMDs are members of the ILADS. They have guidelines on how to approach tick borne diseases treatements by safely using antibiotics treatement combinations. The conferences are very interesting. I saw one on line a long time ago and I loved it! But not all are posted on like. They are available for purchase, though. But you can find the guidelines if you search for them and you can print a lot of material for free, too.

LLMDs have their own guidelines, which most infectious disease and main stream drs don't recognize. Most of us ended going to LLMDs because our PCP and ID doctors didn't treat us long enough and symptoms returned or got worse. Regular drs treat for up to 4 weeks for lyme and don't even check for co-infections. LLMDs are much better trained to deal with lyme AND co-infections because most of them do it all day long.

That was the second time I was treated! The first time I got one month of abx and was never treated for Bartonella. The second time is what is posted and that was a longer treatement for Lyme and Bartonella. I didn't know one can have more than 1 tick borne disease until I found forums like this and learned about ILADS and was treated by one... I had no symptoms when I finished for a good 2-3 yrs. Than my son and then my daughter got bit and I started to be stressed out dealing with their pain, and symptoms crippled back in...

Now I will try herbs on my own for myself and have them treated by a LLMD. My son got 1 month of abx and within a year his bahaviour changed, started to get seizures and got a little chubby, plus LOTS of pain and brain fog. The regulars drs neuro, ID, PCP all say it is not from lyme and it is psychological. But his symptoms are as if one would copy them from the list of symptoms for lyme and co-infections. So I do believe my son (10 yrs old) has tick born diseases. I believe he has lyme, barto and babesia, based on his symptoms. But regular drs believe that 1 month of abx solve everything and I had to battle with them to even test him! I am waiting for the tests.

We may have to test through Igenex if the regular labs fail us. Again. He stopped having seizures since he was treated for a sinus infection. Funny, how antibiotics stop seizures? they stop seizures because the seizures are infection related. Ha?

Good to hear from you CarlG. It sounds like the clinic has been a good experience for you so far and I hope it continues to be.

I'm in the NW part of the US and our weather is much like England's, so I'm glad you picked this time of year to go.

Those detox drips must take the edge off treatment. Happy to see they don't just load you up with antibiotics and leave you hanging to deal with the horrible die offs.

So curious...Do you know what they put in your IV drips for detox? I would love to know more of their approach, if you know off-hand.

Based on some research I did the IVs are different for everyone based on what testing shows to be affecting you.

I have not been there so I can't say. Take a look at the thread with some of those that have been.

everyone ive spoke to have improved to some degree, I've seen with my own eyes two patients wheelchair bound and walking around now like nothing's happened, sometimes they go back into the wheelchair for a few days/weeks when more biofilm is broken etc. 2 steps forward 1 step back is definitely the case here.
Even with Yolanda who he mentioned in his workshop on Monday, as soon as she felt better after a short period of time she left to go do red carpet events etc, when in fact much more time was needed.
Leaving the centre is just the beginning in the road to getting better in regards to continue detoxing, eating clean, colonics etc.
From what I've witnessed if you listen and follow the rules you will get better here

So I've just finished week 5 and last Thursday was one of the best days I've had in a very long time, I managed light stretches and a minimal cardio workout which last year was unheard of. I was going to update every few weeks as progress isn't overnight.

At the centre there are some very very sensitive patients that are given what they can handle according to there weekly bloodwork, you won't be put on a single tablet or drip until you have the gazillion blood tests and scans that he requires for your tailored treatment plan.

The best thing I would suggest is to give the clinic a call and speak to a patient coordinator (free of charge) and they will answer all your questions, that really helped me in my decision, and I'm sure they will be able to answer more about your sensitivity issues.

Hi Deanna, first off welcome to the forum :)

Yes I'm still at the Sponaugle centre I'll be starting my 12th week on Monday, I do have an update for this forum that I will post regarding my progress as it's been quite a while since I last posted but there's so much to talk about I just haven't got round to it.

In regards to feeling better, in my own personal opinion the guy is an absolute genius, I feel sooo much better, and some of the folks he's transformed is borderline miracle.

my main symtoms upon visiting Sponaugle was constant anxiety, depression, derealization/personalisation, breathing issues, dizziness, sezuire like episodes and fainting.

My Anxiety and depression is currently around 2 or 3 out of 10 (I have a lot of comparison symptoms prior to visiting the clinic and the symptoms I feel now I'll be sure to add it more in detail on my post on Monday)

The depersonalisation and derealization still occur at times, usually when I'm on a certain kind of drip.

Since being here I haven't had one seizure like episode or fainting spell (in over 3 months kind of a big deal to me)

My breathing issues still remain but not as dominant as before.

As I keep mentioning ive got lots of content regarding my last three months here, I just need to write it up on the forum, it's a more in depth view week by week.
