Which coinfection causes severe panic and anxiety?

Cheetahjade -- What were all of your stomach issues when you had Lyme? Do you think you had Bartonella? I've been hearing about how that often causes so many digestive issues.

RunnerGirl82- Initially my stomach issues started with some discomfort and diminishing appetite. Then abdominal pain on both the right and left sides and sometimes it seemed to migrate to different areas of my stomach. Alternating diarrhea and constipation, but not too much nausea and no vomiting at all. Initially I was told it was GERD so I went on a restrictive diet. No gluten, nothing spicy, nothing acidic and nothing fried. As the pain continued, I began to cut out more like sugar and chocolate. I also lost a lot of weight at this time. Within four months I lost about 35-40 lbs. I FINALLY saw a GI doc (had issues trying to get an appointment) and concerned more about the weight loss they ordered an endoscopy. Luckily all they found was some gastritis.

I was still having issues but slowly they started to diminish a little bit, still though pain is pain. Somewhere right before the endoscopy I was clinically diagnosed with Lyme. After the endoscopy I had my first appointment with my LLMD. She tested me where I was positive for anaplasma and CDC negative for Lyme. I was negative for most of the co-infections but some of my symptoms were indicative of some. She also had me see a nurse practitioner who helped with an anti-inflammatory diet. So between diet, probiotics and acupuncture, it has helped. I'm still dealing with issues though and currently making kefir and fermented foods that will hopefully help some more.

I recently started having severe panic attacks while driving and uncontrollable crying. On a daily basis I have chills/headaches/nauseousness/fatigue/brainfog/dizziness/wooziness/heightened sense of smell/light & noise sensitivity.

Supposedly my anaplasmosis is gone but I have Lyme. I don't know you differentiate what infection causes what symptom. Maybe I have a third infection.

I think it's hard to tell which co-infection causes what because so many symptoms overlap. It's especially hard to differentiate because no one just has one co-infection, usually it's Lyme plus something else. And as most say, it's rarely just lyme. If that were the case then it might be easier to study the different symptoms and the infections themselves.

lymedisease1- I'm not sure what you mean by lose sensation? Do you mean did my abdomen go numb or did the pain and sensations subside when my stomach was full or empty? To be honest, there felt like there was no pattern to the pain and discomfort. Sometimes after I ate it hurt sometimes it didn't , if I was hungry there was pain, occasionally there wasn't. Sometimes it was all day, other times it was off and on. I couldn't get a handle on it which made it all the more frustrating at the time.

uuummm....I just started something new for fungal...herx is insane....and suddenly anxiety popped up?!?
it's aweful, I can't live like this.
So now I wonder, if fungal (herx) is the culprit for me. It's so hard to really know.

I am have been trying strict diet too. Did you take antibiotics at all?
Antibiotics seem to be the only thing that gut issues under check which is really weird cause they always "caused" gut issues before I was sick. LLMD thinking Bartonella because I still have strong brain and neuro-issues with typical Bart rash with antibiotic challenges.
