Hello there everybody! Hope you all are feeling as well as you can.
Me on the other hand have had constant fevers for the last 24 hours. Since starting treatment the beginning of the year, I've gotten them randomly and usually only lasting a few hours. Well today it was constant and I was miserable. They fevers ranged from 99.5 to 101.5. I contacted my LLMD and she said that if I could tolerate them, to let them run their course. I tried my best, but I couldn't handle it anymore, so I finally took some Motrin around 8pm (I prefer Tylenol but we were out and no energy to go get some).
I have been in bed all day! Feels like the fevers just wiped me out. When I did get up I was dizzy, SOB, tachycardic and of course fatigued and weak.
Just wanted to see if this was a normal symptom during treatment. I know it's different for everybody, but if anybody has had fevers like this, I would really appreciate some advice on how you handled them. I would much prefer to let them break on their own, but today I just couldn't take it anymore. I was going from being freezing with chills, to sweating and having to change my clothes a few times. At certain points throughout the day, parts of my body were cold (like hands and feet and randomly just one leg for awhile) and the others were hot as hell. I've always had the hot flashes and night and day sweats since getting sick, but being accompanied with a long term fever is new for me.
Any advice would be much appreciated. This was one of the worst days I've had in awhile.
Thanks guys!
