Hands tingling like crazy

Hello,

I've been on Doxycycline for over a month now, with a small break last week.
I was given the Doxy to tide me over till I see a "real" Lyme doc in March.

The "pins and needles" started about a week into the Doxy, coming and going and worse at the end of the day when I'm tired.

This morning it really hit the fan. Initially one hand was affected, but now both hands are tingling and very stiff. I could barely hold my toothbrush or lift my coffee cup this morning (priorities!)

I was diagnosed with Lupus and RA a few years ago and have had lots of pain and stiffness in my hands-but never this weird nerve stuff.
Otherwise the Doxy has made me feel tremendously better.

I detox my brains out but is there anything else I should do? Is this normal?
Should I be alarmed? This is driving me a little nuts.

I don't feel knots in my arms but noticed last night that my arms were as hard as rocks like I've been lifting weights. I wish!

Convinced my husband to massage my arms and will try the topicals.

Does it ever go away?
