I have very dark thoughts during the day and extreme anxiety most mornings. Some days the only thing I look forward to is going to sleep. I would love to hear from anyone going through the same thing.

I am going thru the same thing.My llmd put me on celexa last month and it has started to work now.It has helped with the anxiety,rages,and depression.Have you told your llmd about this?

If you want a non-prescription option to help your mood, my LLMD told me to take Sam-E. It's available in drugstores and even grocery stores. You can take 1600mgs a day.

I'm on zoloft & zyprexa (a mood stabilizer) & klonopin for anxiety. I got the Rx from a psychiatrist. How many weeks were you on your med before you felt like it was working?

I was on the celexa for four weeks before I felt better.I was also on benzodiazepines,valium,clonazepam,but the celexa seems to be working better.It also seemed to make tapering of the benzodiazepines go a bit easier.

The Sam-E helped me almost immediately. I bought it on the way home from my LLMD appointment and felt better that night.
