I am on quite a few supplements (some herbal) and hormones to boost different things lacking in my body, and I have been cutting out sugar and down on carbs.... which admittedly I've been quite hooked on since the stress of all of this kicked in. ;) i've been gluten free for about four years already, and don't eat much dairy. The food thing is hard though, as I just don't have the energy to cook a whole lot, especially when it comes to dinners. ugh. this week, in fact, my fatigue has been pretty bad.... so my poor kiddos have had to have their share of gluten free pizza (not that they are complaining!), while I have soup I've stored up in the freezer. And I've grown quite fond of the organic rotisserie chickens from Wholefoods. :)
Not sure about co-infections... I tested negative for Babesia and Bartonella, but my LLPA says she'll treat for all of them....
While I've done a lot of reading, I'm very new to all of this, and it's a bit intimidating and confusing at times. My father who lives in Virginia just got told by his doctor that he suspects he has lyme, and if so, he plans to treat all naturally through acupuncture and homeopathics... which is the route I think I'd take too if I was just getting started, as I've always been the natural medicine type. But the last year and a half, i've been tossed around by so many different docs who just said "you'll have to learn to live with this- it's a progressive muscle disease", that when I met my integrative PA, I was really needing to "hand it over" to someone else for a little while.... I don't know if that makes any sense or not, but I really trust her, as she's been down this road herself, and she works under Dr. J. in D.C..... so, I'm surrendering.... and it's scary! onward i go!
Enough babbling... What about you?
