Hi all,
Does anyone have experience with Dr. N in myerstown PA? I am desperate to find some help that I can afford, and have been reading he takes insurance. Can anyone comment on the costs? And also just your experience in general, as well as how long you had to wait to get in? I may call tomorrow. I am having some concerning heart symptoms so not to keen on waiting awhile. I can feel my heart beating hard almost constantly now. I do not know if I have lyme but would really like to find out. My other symptoms can be found in my past posts if you are curious.

Dr. N is my current LLMD and very patient orientated/focused. Costs are about average for an office visit, I think 120 per visit without insurance, I use my insurance though, $10 co-pay (for now).

If you haven't had an Igenex test as of yet, he will require you to take one. The tests are $200 (Igenex's costs) for the most basic, his office may charge for the blood withdrawal though.

I was scheduled for an apt about 7 weeks after faxing back the paperwork, luckily for me there was a cancellation and I was there within 3 weeks.

I would start the process of calling them and filling out then faxing the paperwork, then get your Igenex test if you think you may have Lyme.

What all paperwork will there be? I just want to make sure if I need to take anything back to college with me tomorrow.
Also do you know if he accepts Keystone insurance? I'm assuming it would be central (I utilize both east and central depending on if I'm at school or home).

As for the paperwork; just the normal personal information along with symptoms and history. They will mail to you unless you have access to a fax, then a fax of course. Send it back and they will call you to schedule an appointment.

I am not sure what insurance they take, but they will tell you when you call.
