Lyme litterate lawyer needed to deal with school

Hi all. I am looking for anlyme litterate lawyer to help deal with my daughter's school. They have the typical uneducated beliefs and feel she is not sick. Long story. Looking for lawyer near Albany New York

You should put where your looking for a doctor in the subject area, so people will see it and give you suggestions sooner.

I'm sure sorry you have to go through that hassle.

I took my son out of school and put him in a free on line public school. It is working out much better than I thought! Very flexible except for 4 hours per week when he has to be in front of the computer at a certain time. All his work is done whenever he feels ok, except for these 4 hours per week, which he can do even from bed if he can't get out of it. I hope you consider it. I didn't want to go to court and this is I think a better option because you have no guarantee how things turn if you go to court.

You may get a sympathetic judge or what that doesn't "get it" at all :(

I know the in's and out's of lyme - and my husband is an attorney. He is very well educated with lyme as well since I suffered thru it along with our three kids. We live in downstate NY, but my husband is willing to travel for cases from time to time - so shoot me an email, and I will send you his info. You can give him a call and see if there is anything he can do for you!!

It's unfortunate that the school has that kind of attitude about his illness. We are very lucky here. My daughter has been out of school for a year and our district has a wonderful home instruction program. The teachers come right to the house and she is learning at the same level as her peers. I hope you find someone that is able to help you with this unfortunate situation.
