you are Igenex and CDC positive on your IgM
But you already know that.
I don't know about
the other stuff - IFA and C Pneumoniae
Are you in treatment yet?

This is the most important:
IGENEX IGM RESULT POSITIVE
CDC/NYS RESULT POSITIVE
As for the other two, can you include the ranges? They usually give a range to show what it means.

I'm relatively new to Lyme and co's, having just been diagnosed myself a few months ago, but I have chronci Lyme as many of us here do (plus Bartonella).
Squash the pumpkin- aer you seeing an LLMD? If not, it's very important to see a good LLMD for diagnosis and treatment. Since it appears your IGM is positive, it indicates that the Bb bacteria is active in your body. IGG indicates a long-standing infection and that is why some bands show up as IND or even negative. An LLMD will also diagnose you based on clinical findings, history and physical examination. If you need help finding out, you can post a thread asking for help finding an LLMD in your area.

This post reminds me of a question I had.
Do you know how long it takes for IGG positive bands to show up? I have a TON of positive IGM bands, and a couple positive & IND IGG bands.

RunnerGirl-
I think the timing on IGG bands showing up will be individual. Lyme and Co try to evade the immune system for as long as possible, so each infection and immune response timing could be different- hence why there are so many false negative test results for sick people. I had my bite a year and a half when I tested positive with my IGM results but all IGG bands were negative.
I think it used to be believed that IGM meant "recent" infection, but has since been revised to "active" infection.

Squash_the_pumpkin, that's not the range, that's the result. I meant for the C. Pnemonia and the other one. what are the numbers in comparison to?

C. Pneumoniae 0.31
---------------------------
Ratio. ----- Interpretation
<0.8 ----- Negative
> or = 0.8 to <1.1 ------ Equivocal
> or = 1.1 ------ Positive
( does this mean I'm Equivocal? ?)
Hme panel (monocytic )
E . CHAFFEENSIS IGM <20
E. CHAFFEENSIS IGG <40
( to much info to write down for this one its kinda boggling, but one sentence says......presence of both Igm and Igg together also indicates active infection.)
I guess I will just have to wait for my llnd to be back next Wednesday....that's along time to wait though.

Here is the site I used to understand my results.
It explains a bit about
the bands. She answers a lot of questions below the band info if you want to read a bit.

It means you're positive for C. Pneumoniae.

Really, Girlie? I'm reading it as negative.
The value is .31 which is less than .8

Call and ask. You paid for the testing which includes your results. Ask them to help you understand how to interpret that result.
