Hi guys...so ive been on a fairly aggressive abx regimen fro 2 months now. I don't want to jinx anything but I seem to be having more good days then bad. I have to say, this is really helping with my mental health! When I have the bad days, i just think to myself...push through, and soon enough you will have some good days.
I hope I'm not getting ahead of myself, and I know it's early days, but it gives me hope for the future.
Just thought I would spread a bit of sunshine today...when sometimes the world can seem so grim
Hugs to all

Well today I'm having a good day! But the past 4 weeks or so haven't been great. Started pulsing Tinidazole twice weekly at end of January - don't know if that's why I've felt lousy. Maybe I had a lot of cysts and I've been herxing non-stop - I can't figure it out.
But hoping today is the start of something good (although I've said that before...lol)
So are you on biaxin and doxy along with Flagyl still?

Girlie, Yes im still on all the abx i started with. The Metro, which I think is the same as Flagyl, is pulsed 2 days a week. My doc is very aggresive with treatment. I have a phone appointment with her end of April, so I'm sure she will change things up a bit. Glad you're having a good day!!!

Wow! You guys are so wonderful..
Courtney...I'm on doxy too so no sun for me either :(
Thanks for the kind words
Flossie....Thanks, xo
Utahgirl....keep smiling xo
HappyJoe....my protocol is in my signature line. I started off the bat with all those meds. Im from Canada so im not sure if the name of the drugs are the same in the states. Ex, I think the metro is the same as Flagyl.
I was told i would probably feel some improvement after 3 months but I was skeptical and didn't want to get my hooes up....and im still cautious, but i have to say my CNS has " calmed" a bit, and im able to work and do errands.
I feel its just as important to post on the positive and maybe give someone else a glimmer of hope. I was so down, depressed, dare I say...at the end of my rope. BUT!! The string of good days has helped me mentally, more than I can say.
Hugs to all

Ive been detoxing like crazy as well. Epsom salts baths, lemon water. Im trying to get my hands on some alka seltzer gold (not sold in Canada). Im scared to go for massage since it caused a really bad herx last time and i just want to enjoy feeling good for a while. I also take charcoal a couple nights a week but its hard to fit it in away from all the other stuff! We do what we can right?

I agree on the detoxing like crazy method! It seems to help me too. :)
I have been taking charcoal and cholestrymine at night at least 2 hours after my antibiotics. Then I take my probiotics later at night when I get up to use the restroom. That is the only way I can fit in the cholestrymine most times.
I think iHerb sells the AS Gold (never ordered from them). I order mine from Amazon. I could not find it in stores either. It seems to help.
Thanks for sharing!!!

Wondering - so glad you are doing so well! Thanks for posting. I too am from Canada and am trying to find Alka Seltzer Gold. I tried iHerb Canada and they are sold out...have been for a while now. I guess I will try Amazon. Please let me know if you find a source for it.
