Has anyone ever heard of a connection with dental problems relating to lyme disease ?

This may sound weird but an alternative medicine doctor recommended seeing a biological dentist to evaluate for a possible root canal infection.

Before going through any procedures I would question the dentist of course. Anyone hear of dental being related to long going diseases?

yes I did. I saw a biological dentist. I had 3 abscessed teeth and one mercury amalgam in my mouth. he also said i had a cavitation that needed to be addressed.

I did have all three abscessed teeth removed and implants put in. I had the mercury removed and I am now having my mercury levels assessed to see if I need chelation. I have not addressed the cavitation yet one dentist said I did not have one and the biological dentist did. I am waiting to see how I feel. I have felt so much better getting all this done. but 1 month ago I started IV peroxide and I have seen tremendous improvement in my health and I have started living life again slowly. I was on antibiotics for 8 months

Had mercury root canal. Now a jaw cavitation which is hurting. IV hydrogen peroxide didn't do anything for me. But most other treatments helped.

Has an abscess about a year ago, out of nowhere, and it required a root canal. Now that you mention it, the abscess could have been yet another lyme symptom.

You do know about dental spirochete-my doc actually thinks most lyme is a dental problems with a dental spirochete.
I read a small study abut doubling your immune system when you get the metals out. The study is in a book called rescued by my dentist.

I also know Dr. Rau at Paracelsus, who sees the worst lyme cases, required all of them to remove root canals.

Yep, had a root canal on my front tooth about 6 months ago.  Doc says it seemed weird to need a root canal on front tooth when it hasn't been traumatized (banging it).  Just another weird symptom

hi I just saw my lyme doctor this is a new one I really like. he worked under dr horowitz. He also told me after I informed him I had been told to have all my root canals pulled and my cavitations addressed, that there is a big link between lyme and dental problems.

He said Dr simon yu knows a lot about this. He has a very good website some of you may want to check out.

it is going to cost money I don't have right now to do the dental work. I think I have 3 or 4 root canals and I will feel toothless.

I had a deep filling drilled out about 4 yrs ago that lead to a root canal that lead to a bone infection that caused excruciating pain that was unbearable. Still to this day I get pain in that tooth. I need to get it pulled and probably all the other root canals I have in my mouth.

Everything is such a money eater.

Also been reading there's a link between root canals and cancers.

mystery1- I Simon Yu does have a great web sight and a good clinic.
There are many medical doctors who understand the jaw is connected to the rest of your body.
Knee surgeons and heart surgeons understand this. Not sure why some many conventional guys don't.
google electron microscope and see how porus a tooth actually is-and realize a root canal is a dead tooth with no immune system-. the dead porous tooth is a great place for polymicrobial infections-bacteria-virus-fungal-many docs start in the jaw

thank you magoo2 my lyme doctor told me to look at simon yu site as well. I am thinking about pulling every root canal. I still have my front and side teeth so I won't look like a hag lol
