Racethelightning, thanks so much for your suggestions too. I have a pretty healthy diet generally, but tbh I don't completely exclude anything really . . . but I do eat a pretty low sugar diet, and don't eat very much dairy. I've never had any allergies, fortunately. Interesting thought though. And I'll definitely be looking into ginger!
I completely agree about
the sleep thing. So frustrating, as I do suffer a bit with insomnia - wake up in the night around 3-4am and then can't get back to sleep - and I feel terrible the next day. This happened the night before last, and I felt horrible all day yesterday and was so ready for my bed . . . slept really well last night, and have felt much better today
. We really need our sleep so much to heal, it's so unfair that many of us with lyme struggle to sleep properly :-(
