To DadSpecialT: My 10 year old daughter who was bitten in 2008 is under this doctor's care, and she is doing quite well after 1 year of treatment.

To RitaA: There are two ILADS recommended LLMDs in upper NY state.  The volunteers at the CanLyme website gave me both of their names.  We are going to Buffalo because it is closer to our location (Niagara), the other is in Plattsburg.

Just thought I'd bump this to ask for some info on the LLMD in Buffalo. Can anyone comment on their expeiences with him/her? (also, if you could message me with the name, that'd be great as well!)

We worked with this doctor for 2 years. Our daughter was weaned from abx in Apr 2013. We continue using Buhner's herbal protocol for bartonella, and have found improvement adding tinctures that address protozoan infections as well, although there were no positive results for the babesias.

This doctor knows her abx and uses some herbal/homeopathic protocols as well (Cowden, ByronWhite). She is ILADS-trained and often presents at their annual Lyme Conference.

She brought us to a very good place. I wasn't comfortable with completely stopping treatment, so I continue on my own with the assistance of Buhner's associate and a local naturopath trained in TCM.

Please help I need a LL doctor in the Buffalo area as we are in the GTA area. Please email me any info possible.
My spouse has late stage symtons after 2 years of being told he have Idiotic Peripherial Neuropathy. It has now progressed to his face and is causing mood swings.

Dr P was "good" for us. She is 1 of only 2 ILADS trained LLMD's in the upper NY area.

Can you please share Dr.P's information with me? I am in the Buffalo area and believe I have Lyme disease. I have no idea where to turn to get a proper diagnosis and subsequent treatment. Any advise?

You will see in your post that I edited it to remove your email address. We can't post them because you would get a ton of spam. - Non-forum members can read these posts.

So glad your daughter is doing so well!!! I’ve heard iffy reviews on her but I believe this is the doctor I’ve just started seeing as well so I’m very happy to hear she has helped!

My story on lyme. I
Got lyme I believe in june. I had a spider bite. It turn to cellulitis. Three doctors told me not a tick bite. I had migraines so bad that I went to emergency room 3 times. Mean time my daughter is posted people on Facebook for prayer. Any way I got bells palsy from it which lasted 14 days. When I was at Dent. I doctor said it was muscle pain. My wife and i have been praying and my wife got a vision of a woman we knew 20 years ago that had lyme. So my wife insisted to the Dent doctor check him for lyme which they did. Mean time my wife's cousin in Kentucky was reading her post and when I got bells palsy. He knew I had lyme before my doctor. He is a toxicologist... dr. Alternative medicine and pharmacologist. Praise God. One my results came in and confirm it was lyme. He told me after I was done with the doxy wait 2 weeks.start RNA lyme support and samento and banderol. Which I have.however I have been going for prayer at the healing room as well. My biggest struggle was fear. Between my prayers and wife's cousin doing ok. But I do understand your fears.

My sister had lyme 4 years ago. She could not take antibiotics cause she is allergic. She just prayed. Last month she was getting back pain and they retested her for lyme. The pain was gallstones and her lyme was totally healed no antibodies even came up. She had 6 of 10 markers.i dont want to get religious. But I feel it would be unfair to those struggling with lyme not to have hope. There is a Facebook site I discovered call lymewny if interested. So I continue my day taking my supplements ... praying for total healing..
Changed my diet and I'm in better shape now then I was before lyme. Lol. I am going to a disease infection doctor to get his opinion he takes health insurance then after him I am heading based on what he says to a lyme specialist doctor in Pennsylvania. Two friend of mine from church went to him one worst then the other were both doing much better and healthy. Both had their lyme for a few years before diagnosed. Please dont be afraid of asking me questions. Unless you walked thru this disease you dont understand the head games played on your mind.
