Hi all,
I haven't been on the board in, well, nearly 8 months because I've been busy living life happily and nesting for our 1st baby girl to arrive in about
5 weeks.
A beautiful life after Lyme infection/company is amazing. I'm 41.5 and became pregnant about
7 months after being sick for about
a year prior to undergoing 9 months of intense abs/herbal etc treatment for Lyme and Bart ~ and after all the doctors and "fertility specialists" said conceiving for us would be nearly impossible.
Wanted to pop in to say hi. Sending you all thoughts of healing and wellness; hang in there!
Warmly,
Sarah

Good for you Mr Mike! Positiv attitudes go a loooong way, especially wih Lyme. When sick I was such a miserable grouch to be around...but all shifted when I got well!! lol

Just wondering if you're on antibiotics while pregnant?
Thanks

awww, thanks so much guys for sharing in our joy!!
Kayoklove, yes, I chose to be on 2 antibiotics, mild and "pregnancy safe" twice starting the 2nd trimester and throughout nursing. my LLMD recommended them; his daughter was pregnant about
a year and a half ago and she was on the same (she and her sister have Lyme...but are healed). the hospital tested the cord and placenta, which were negative for Lyme, through Igenix. we're planning on doing the same - it's about
a $450 test...
Travelor, thank you sweet pea!! How is she doing and her baby ? I sent her an email last week to see, but I'm sure she's super busy with her new love. i remember her llmd recommended against her being on abx during pregnancy if i remember correctly. And no name yet!!! I better start seriously thinking about
it....so many choices!!! hahaha
anyway, keep fighting the good fight yawl ~ you all will heal too!

She's doing wonderfully well and loving being a Mom!! Baby is well also.
I'm so very happy for you!! What a better way to celebrate your "new" life than with new life!!! Congrats again!! I'm so very glad that all the tests came back negative!

So happy for you! After my first bout with Lyme I too took ABX while pregnant with my last child just to be safe. She is 24 and beautifully healthy. Lots of blessings to you and your little one. Great to hear happy news.
