I'm following up here. I followed a protocol for bee sting therapy for 10 months, (May 2015-March 2016) stinging 3 times/week and building up slowly to 8-10 stings per session. In total I had about 700 stings. I was greatly helped by bee stings. Although I am not the same person I was before Lyme, I am active and happy. Before I started stinging, I'd been on antibiotics off and on for almost a year, and was having trouble tolerating them. Now I am on no treatment. I have flare-ups, but I've learned to live with them. I push myself to exercise regularly - swimming, yoga, Qi gong, gardening, because I feel less pain when I'm active, and I sleep better. Still have nerve pain, fatigue at times, weird reactions to changes in the weather etc. Bee stings helped me get my life back.
