Treatment= Pain worse every day?

I don't have much of an answer for you, at least not one that will prove to be much help. Just in a similar boat as you, I guess, with the uncertainty about treatment, the money. It sucks, huh?

Me, in the beginning, I felt much better than I had in months, years maybe. There was improvement, within the first month. Sure, the herxes were uncomfortable, but, knowing what they were, I was able to take comfort in them, there was a sense of peace. I knew that my experiencing them meant that the medicines were working and that I had a chance at health.

Lately though, things have changed. I don't get the same reactions that I used to define as me herxing. I feel worse sometimes. I notice old symptoms that I had hoped were gone for good. I don't know how to take it. Am I herxing still, just with different symptoms, am I not detoxing enough, or are the medicines not working as well and the infection(s) are coming back?

Anyway, yeah, not to hijack your post or anything. Sorry.

Getting back to you, well, as I've often heard around here, everybody's different, when it comes to this stuff. More than that, I feel like it's safe to say that the symptoms one has when herxing are subject to change. I've seen others mention the herxing being terrible, some getting no sense of relief from them, so.. maybe that IS just how you herx?

Again, I know I'm not much help. What do I know? Maybe one of the others will be able to assist?

As for the fundraising, I don't really know. There are sites like gofundme, kickstarter. I don't know how you'd get people to notice you and care though. Spill your heart out, and maybe someone will read and feel for ya?

Butttttt.. I hope you figure things out, and start to feel better soon. Summer's definitely not the season to spend miserably, huh?

Antonio192X, you are definitely not hijacking anything. It helps to hear everyone's point of view. This is all new to me and even with my sister having gone through everything and this being her sixth year, her feelings through it all are so much different. With it being so early in my treatment it means I really need to talk to my doctor next time about whether or not it is helping or maybe I am NOT detoxing enough. Please tell me anything that you can and I hope that everyone else that reads this will tell me anything they can as well.

Wow, Traveler! that is quite a list. And yes, I am a teacher going into my 16th year. I will definitely look into those. I have two sites that I have set up after looking into them I just don't know how to advertise them. I am typically a quiet person so this is not easy for me but I will work on it and figure it out. For advertising those sites, try adding them in on your signature line here in your profile and then you can just post them on your facebook page or some sites have other suggestions about how to promote your fundraiser.

What all are you currently doing for detoxing? We can give you more suggestions, and some have found LDN (low dose naltrexone) helpful for pain.
