Bartonella & the Skin

I have had a few different rashes/scratches that my doc associates with Bartonella. I have the usual streaks across my back. I also get legitimate scratch marks which are very weird. The other day I woke up and found a big long scratch along my arm and I surely would've remembered a scratch that big. I also have mottled skin pretty much all over my body.

My bart also gives me this internal buzzing feeling, which I can especially feel throughout my legs and into my feet.

I have the stretch match like stuff going on. Also get that annoying buzzing feeling too.. I thought that was the lyme.. Guess I was wrong!

Marie, I have those small red dots on my arms (mild) and also been noticing red bumps on my upper arms and back that look similar to acne but it's not acne....Bart??

Interesting. I used to always think it was just those typical scratch and stretch marks associated with Bart.

Very interesting thread. Loads of tiny red spots have appearing down my right arm and on my stomach.

My red spots are size of pin head. Nothing raised at all. No idea what they are. Just had really bad herx and the spots appeared.

Mine aren't raised either, most are the very small. The bigger ones look almost like a dot of broken blood vessels rather than true 'spots' (like you would squeeze, lol).

I don't know what is causing them, bart or otherwise.

Not sure if I've got Bart. I haven't had any testing done for it. But, someone noted it as a possibility, based on some of my symptoms.

Skin manifestations in particular, well, same as the rest, I get the little red dots sometimes. The petechiae. Thing is, for the longest time, there'd only be like one of them. One little red dot here and there. Though, a couple months ago, I got a ton of them on the tops of my feet. Tons of little red dots.

Never any stretch marks or anything though.

Other than that, no. WELL, actually, I've had these little, slightly raised red patches on my left shoulder for about a month now. Sound like Bart? I've actually been considering having them looked at by a doctor, as I've sort of got it in my head that it's skin cancer or something.

Anyway..

I have a long rash of little dots close together, reddish brown, not raised, close to where I had the tick bite. I also have been getting more and more of bright red, raised bumps, almost like a strawberry hemangioma but they're small, the size of a pen dot. That might be Babesia though... Not sure.
