Internal vibrations at night - Anyone?

I don't know if my symptoms are the same as your wife's.

Mine are like an internal buzzing...as if I'm plugged into an electrical circuit. Definitely nervous system. And it was one of my initial symptoms of lyme diseas and/or co's.

Mine are usually worse in the early evening...and luckily are gone when I to to bed.

I think it's just a matter of treatment - it's either lyme or bart - irritating the nervous system. I think it attacks the myelin (sp?) sheath.

I get the internal vibrations as well… roving, comes and goes. It's awakened me from sleep.

I agree that it's a neuro issue affecting nerve endings. It's a little better w/ the low dose naltrexone at night. Not sure what helps during the day.

I notice it is much worse after I ride my bike or walk any considerable distance (doing errands, grocery shopping), do dishes or wash my hair. It's either the effect of muscle producing lactic acid, aggravating the infection or nerves or my body temperature heating up.

Absolutely classic Lyme symptom. It's a horribly anxiety-producing feeling. It does get better with treatment.

Out of all my symptoms, when I got those vibrations...OMG...it freaked me out...like something is seriously wrong with my nervous system.
The pain is horrible, the anxiety is equally horrible, but those vibrations scared me (and still do sometimes - two years later).

I felt so much better when I found out here that other people experienced them.

Wondering if I'm the only one who gets them everyday? For hours at a time.

I developed internal vibrations after starting abx.....I had them every day....on and off throughout the day.

They lessened in intensity over time and became what I called buzzing sensations....and eventually humming sensations.

I also developed what I call "poking sensations" - very similar to a baby's kick. They were mostly in my legs (left leg favored) and I'd get an occasional one in either my left or right flank. Those have lessened in intensity and are more of a tap now.....much, much less frequent but still every few hours or so (vs every few seconds)

The buzzing/humming had disappeared until I started the latest-greatest antimicrobials in the Cowden program.

Now I have buzzing as a herx, humming that comes and goes as a baseline symptom.....and an occasional tap as a herx.

My face has taken to feeling a bit weird (numb?) and I hadn't had issues with that in months. I'm guessing the latest-greatest antimicrobials are hitting areas of infection missed by the abx and the earlier antimicrobials.
