Bulls eye rash reappear?

Hi everyone,

I am currently on doxy and a bunch of supplements to combat my symptoms. I just noticed today that it seems like a bullseye rash formed overnight in a spot other than my original bite location. It has a red centre but the ring feels and looks more like a bruise. I was literally only wearing shorts for 3 hours and i did not pull a tick out so i dont think i got bit again. Has this happened to anyone else?

This happens to me every 4-6 weeks! I know of a small number of people this happens to. Some think it is a herx, others think an autoimmune response. I am not sure what causes it but for me it is like clockwork. How long ago were you bit?

I was bit last summer. Although only started treatment 3 weeks ago. Does your rash move around to different places?

No, it only reoccurs at the site of the bite. It is very odd and worrisome, but I continue to get better despite this. This is the only symptom that has not diminished or gone away.

Many experience the rash move around their body. The rash can reappear at the original site as well, but is not limited to it. Usually this is brought on by treatments (as in your case), herxing or another infection/condition flaring.
