My AST and alt are in the 600s. I just tested positive for Lyme. I am terrified has anyone else experienced this!?

Hi Hranee - Welcome to our community!
I only experienced high liver enzymes after I was treating my LD with antibiotics for several months. But Lyme and co-infections are hard on our bodies and I have read that it can affect the liver.
To find a LLMD, please start a new thread titled: "Looking for LLMD in Grand Rapids, MI area"
Also - enable your email so members can send you names as we aren't allowed to post the Dr.'s names on the forum due to privacy issues.
Good luck!

Welcome to the forum.
I would suggest creating a separate post regarding the LLMD issue.
I am not sure what to tell you about
the liver enzymes, except that you need to start detoxing, and using supplements like milk thistle to help your liver.
I hope someone else can help with the liver issue.
Make sure you read the first thread, where you'll find a lot of information about
Lyme Disease.
If you have any questions, you can email one of the moderators.
Some of our moderators include, Girlie, Marie L.S., Mister Mike, and Traveler.
I'm sorry you're so scared, and I hope you get your liver issues straightened out soon.

Some coinfections can cause elevated liver enzymes, esp. Ehrlichia and Bartonella, according to

With enzymes that high, I would not think Lyme or Bartonella. Usually they "just" cause mildly elevated enzymes. I would get tested for Hep B and C, get an ultrasound and also consider an autoimmune cause.
