My battle against Lyme and Co in Sweden

I'm on olive leaf extract now, and i also ramp up with propolis togheter with manuka honey, oregano oil, lots of raw garlic, turmeric, probiotics and magnesium and b komplex. Trying to hold off lyme until i get some real abx.

I got my prescription from my ILADS trained doctor.

Tetracyklin 250 mg 4 times a day
Zinnat 500 mg 2 times a day
Artimisia Annua 400mg 2 times a day
Probitoics 40-50 billions

A will be on meds for 3 days and then 4 days off. I have 100 pills Tetracyklin and 50 pills Zinnat

I actually feel scared to take this much antibiotics. If i develop resistant bacteria in my body. Thinking of the herbal way instead. But i have ordered the meds.

I read about the Zinnat. To much can give you neurological damage.

anyone have any experience?

I have to say, it really angers me when I hear names like MS, RA, tossed about, as if saying it, makes it final! Too many with these symptoms have been helped with antibacterial, etc treatment.

So good for you to research & looking beyond! Your list of treatment with herbs is a lot so hoping the cart is not too full! Wishing you well on your path to healing.

That's great Krissi! I'm curious what symptoms have improved with it. The Artemisinin has helped me a lot too. I'm adding in Cryptolepis, Sida and Alchornea. I'm working on Crypto right now.

Did your LLMD diagnose you with Bartonella and/or Babesia?

Turmeric is one of my favorite herbs!!! I'm in a lot more pain without it.

LOL! Yep! Definitely a pain in the arse! But hubby and I both take it, so this is the only way we can afford to take it and other things as well.

If you are ordering it, I would suggest that you get it with pepperine (a black pepper extract) in it. There is research that says that pepperine makes curcumin more potent - so you would have to use less.

I'm happy that the Artemisia is helping with your fatigue! I was wondering if it helped anyone else with fatigue too. It has not helped my brain fog, but who knows. I'm hoping the crypto will help more with that.

So today i started 2x500mg ceftin är 4x250mg tetracykline. I cut back all other herbs that kill spiros but go fully on supplements.

i will be on this for three month now. Three day on four days off.

I hope i dont have babesia cause the only thing i'm taking against it are artimisin. I do have breathing problem, like difficult to take deep breath. But no night sweats anymore. Used to have them i couple of month ago.

I developed strange vision problems last weeks. Floaters but also some kind of, difficult to explain, but problem reading and focusing. I hope it can go back.

I will give you the information with a word of warning that this has not been tested in vivo, not in mice, monkeys or humans yet. This is only a phenomenon confirmed in the test tube. The rationale is that longer term antibiotics wipe out essential bacteria in our gut. That actually play a pivotal role in anti-inflammation, subsequent auto-immune phenomena. Long term antibiotics can then set up a patient for chronic Lyme (along with, most likely, some genetic predisposition). The antibiotics were given for 4-5 days on, 2 days off. Four cycles. That's it. So, you would be done in a month. Hard to believe it can be so easy. If you decide to go this route with your mom and her physician, I would be most interested to know how she does.
