Does anyone know the fee to be tested for Lyme Disease through Igenex?
What about
co-infections?
Thanks!

I think the former is a couple hundred (2 something?) and the co infections will set you back a used car... :) No..but i think the co are pricey and accuracy isn't that great. I just came across these numbers in my endless hours of using Google (I read too much about
this disease) so maybe i'm wrong or the numbers have changed.

The western blot IGM and IGG are $105.00 each. This is from a price sheet in May.
The complete Lyme Panel is $499.
The co-infection panels starts at $695-$820. The individual infections tests are less if I read this right.

I think you really only need the 2 tests (IGM?IGG)
Coinfections seem to be diagnosed by symptoms more so then testing.

Jessica - you also have to pay the Igenex fee to have it delivered to Igenex.
And I also had to pay a lab fee.
I think it's worth it if you can scrape the money up.

When my kit arrived, it had the return label for shipping enclosed, all I had to do was drop it in the box.
I called IGenex and talked to them. They are very helpful. Will tell you what the fees are how it is handled. Also which days to have blood drawn so they can receive by Thursday of each week.
I paid $10 to have the blood drawn for the test. (2 vials)

Riverbel - you 'dropped it in the box'? - You sent it regular mail? Not Fedex?
I wouldn't recommend that - it really should be picked up by Fedex to ensure it gets there quickly.

I paid $550 for I think western blot and Bab and Bart co-infections, I also had to call them and they were very helpful, there was a return label, the lab didn't charge for my draw and the sent it out via fedex return label for me.
