Best of luck with this - that rash looks soooo painful!! I hope that you begin to feel better soon!! Please be sure to let us know how we can help.
It doesn't feel as inflamed today.. but My LLMD said I could go back on a low sugar diet so I was stupid and ate chocolate and indulged quite a bit. He made it sound very superficial so I was so happy and forgot that it still might be internal. I'm such an idiot. It's a little bit itchier today but nothing terrible. I'm taking Phenergan to help with the itching and insomnia so hopefully it won't be as red tomorrow. Thanks so much for your support! I don't know where I'll be without this forum!

I would suspect your immune system is out of whack due to antibiotic use. As other's have stated, use probiotics and antifungal treatments such as nystatin powder. Also, I would switch to using hypoallergic free and clear laundry detergent. Skip on using the dryer sheets completely. If you're immune system is out of whack, you can produce a reaction to almost anything (dyes, foods, environment) that you never had a reaction to before. Also, increase your water intake to flush your body.
I will continue to take probiotics and antifungals. I've been given Canesten to use for 2 weeks so I'm hoping that helps! That's what my pharmacist said too. Time to build up my immune system :) Thanks!

ALSO…
you'll want to change your bed and bath linens every day for about a week, wash everything including clothes in very hot water with borax and dry on high heat to kill any fungus. Add a little bleach to anything you can. Shower and wash hair every day. Do this until you get relief and then for a few more days after that.

Hi Pirouette,
Awh man.. I think I'm going to just line my sheets with a flat sheet for now and change it every day. My bed's really hard to change cos its its right in the corner so I know I'll get lazy with that. I think I will get some borax tomorrow. Wait you said bathe with Borax? Isn't that a cleaner of some sort? I haven't tried shampoos but I tried full strength apple cider vinergar on a patch for a week and it looked worse but didn't itch anymore. Tbh it stung a lot so I'm scared to try it again. Is canesten the same as diaper cream?
I'm going to have a google after this :) Thanks so much for your help!

Ouch! That rash really looks like it hurts. I have gone through many rashes myself. Once before I knew I had Lyme and it was all over my legs and midsection. I was miserable because of the itching. I found that Grandpa's Pine Tar soap took away the itch and started to relieve the rash. It smells like a camp fire when you use it in the shower. I started with three showers a day, morning, noon and night until the rash started to disappear. Then I was down to twice a day for a few weeks. Anytime I start itching or develop a slight rash I use that first.
Good luck - sounds like Traveler gave you some good guidance.
Ooh I think my dad used that once! It sounds very familiar. Was it a deep green colour? I'm going to do some more research on this thanks!
